Why Advertise with Rippcord?

Rippcord has developed, tested, and refined the first numeric franchise rating system - the Rippscore. Almost all franchise websites feature marketing language that is written by the franchise companies, and that information is not going to give franchise investors an objective viewpoint on that franchise opportunity. We are franchise investors, and we created Rippcord because franchise investors need objective information, and we expect Rippcord to change the way that franchise investors research franchise opportunities.

We know what you’re thinking: “Well, that sounds interesting but how many people will see my advertisement?” Or, “I don’t think that many people are looking for franchise ratings, so I probably won’t get a return on my advertising investment.”

Well, these are definitely fair questions. But, Rippcord is much more than a franchise ratings website that caters to the franchise investor! In our many years of franchising experience, we’ve seen that franchising works best when everyone is part of the information-sharing system. For example, before we invest in a franchise concept, we talk to prospective franchisees, franchisors, potential customers, and current franchisees to gather as much information as possible to help us determine whether we should invest in that franchise.

With that in mind, Rippcord offers opportunities for everyone involved in franchising (not just potential franchisees). Here’s how we get everyone involved:

Franchisors: Rippcord has created a "Submit Your Franchise" option where franchisors - if they don't see their franchise on our website - can submit their franchise and we will publish its Rippscore. We think this will be great for a lot of franchisors who are looking to promote their brands, which means more traffic!

Customers and Potential Customers: Franchising in the end is about customers. Because without customers, there are no franchise businesses or franchise opportunities. So, we have developed a User Rating feature where people can rate their favorite franchises, and leave a personal message for others to read. This allows customers to thank their favorite franchise owners, and encourages potential customers to visit that franchise location. This also shows prospective franchisees whether customers of a particular franchise are happy with those goods or services.

Marketplace: Rippcord has created the first franchise-specific online marketplace. As franchise investors, we have been in a situation over the years where we wished we could offer certain goods or services to a franchise-specific audience without having to post on one of the huge online marketplaces. We know that franchising creates a specific demand for franchise-specific goods and services, and we looking to build a trusted online franchise marketplace.

Gamification: On top of all these features, Rippcord also offers a gamification element to the user experience where users will receive points for taking certain actions on the website. Then, users will be able to redeem those points for real rewards such as gift cards and music downloads.

In the end, Rippcord will bring together all segments of the franchising universe and offer online features that increase awareness and offer benefits not currently offered anywhere else. While we are excited about the opportunities for our advertising clients, we realize that we are a brand new website and that it will take a little time to generate large website traffic.
